Solicit participation from local travel agencies who bring pilgrimages to Lourdes.
B. Activities and Pastoral Perspectives:
January and October – prolife dimension, to nurture and support, especially the vulnerable.
Spring – Sacrament of Confirmation, entails compassion, service.
December – Immaculate conception – National Healing.
Catechesis – nature of healing, Jesus, Church, Blessed Mother.
Ministers of Care and the Medical Profession – mostly overlooked, offer special Masses and spiritual dimensions.
Gospel passages – integrated vision, word of God and Sacraments.
C. Marian Promotion – Individuals and Communities
Emphasize importance of additional prayer, fasting for somebody else.
Devotions ought not to focus individuals just on their own private experience, needs, spiritual developments, etc. Rather, devotions ought to open them to a greater connection to the whole communion of saints – the entire body of Christ.
