Why does the Jubilee last for a whole year?
This is to welcome all who wish to come even during the winter months. It could be new initiatives like pilgrimages for parishes, pilgrimage gatherings, one-day retreats or longer, invitations sent to specific movements, like Marian movements, Liturgical teams, catechists, volunteers, health workers, etc.
Here in the United States similar initiatives could be emulated.
What will happen from December 8, 2007 onwards in Lourdes?
Daily processions will resume at Easter April 8, 2007
Will the sick be able to come to Lourdes?
From February 11th onward, the Accueils will be open to the sick and disabled pilgrims. These pilgrims can come as a group or individually with a care giver.
