What can I do?

1. You can view the DVD story of Bernadette, The Passion of Bernadette, The Song of Bernadette, and others pertaining to Lourdes.

2. You can read "Bernadette Speaks". This is a biography but reads like a novel. You can also read Lourdes Diary by James Martin SJ.

3. Share your new knowledge of Bernadette with your family and friends.

4. You can pray the Lourdes Day Novena with us. Every month we pray a novena for 9 days, for the intention of conversion of sinners. This novena consists of:

1 Our Father
1 Hail Mary
1 Glory Be
1 "Our Lady of Lourdes, Pray for Us"
1 "St. Bernadette, Pray for Us"

5. You can be welcoming of people around you, in church, in the store, anywhere - what does this mean? It means acknowledging that others are just as important as ourselves because we are all brothers and sisters in Christ.

6. Be aware of the sick, they have preferential status in Lourdes, and also in your area.

7. If you can, join a pilgrimage to Lourdes or come as a visitor.

8. If you cannot travel outside of the country, do a pilgrimage to a church within your diocese dedicated to Our Blessed Mother.

The grassroots movement begins with learning - we learn the story and message of Our Lady as it applies to our world today.
We pray for the conversion of hearts and transformation of the world.
We become more conscious and aware of people because they are our brothers and sisters in Christ.
We spread what we have become. We have received so many graces, it is only right that we give them back to others.
